Please help:
- I have a ConfigMgr on a Windows Machine and 1 Broker(SAMP_BRKR) on the same machine. I deployed 1 message flow and tested it. It works fine.
- I deleted the broker reference in the control center.
I stopped the configMgr and deleted ConfigMgr.
- I created configMgr pointing to the same databases and restarted it.
So far so good.
Now I am trying to create a reference to the broker(SAMP_BRKR) in control center. When I try to checkin the broker, I get the following error message.
Please help.
-----------------------
BIP1511E: Queue manager 'BROKER_QM1' cannot be associated with broker 'BRKR_BROKER_QM1'; already associated with broker 'BRKR_BROKER_QM1'.
An attempt was made to associate broker BRKR_BROKER_QM1 with MQSeries queue manager BROKER_QM1, but broker BRKR_BROKER_QM1 already has this association. An MQSeries queue manager can only have one broker associated with it.
Change the queue manager for one of the brokers. If this problem occurs after you have deleted broker BRKR_BROKER_QM1 using the Control Center, then tried to recreate it, you must first initiate a deploy operation to automatically delete the configuration from the real broker (a broker is first created outside of the Control Center, then it is defined to the Control Center). It is only after all types of configuration data (assignment, topology, topics) have been successfully deleted from the real broker that the broker document is finally deleted from the configuration repository. Until that time the queue manager can not be associated with another broker. Once this has been done, you must also physically delete and recreate the real broker using the mqsideletebroker and mqsicreatebroker commands.

Hi,
Even me facing a same problem. I dropped the broker and created a new one. I have tried restarting MQSeries and the system itself. But when browsed through the registry i came across an entry for the broker even after deleting it ( i checked for the entry b4 recreating it). When i tried to delete the entry, unabe to do so. Any help...?
