I understand that jms is a set of api. is that true? I have seen the word JMS administration. What does it mean?

JMS - Java Message Service - You could describe it as a set of APIs and it will definitely need some administration done with/to it. I'd suggest you get the Using Java manual and do some reading. You can also look at some of the samples here and on:
