Hi,
I have an EJB application on UNIX which reads messages from an IBM Mq Series queue. It uses the receive method to read from the queue, so basically the session that is created initially is locked. The problem I am facing is that if messages of different priorities are written to the queue, only the message with the highest priority gets picked up.
For eg. We tried with 7 messages with priorities 9,8,7,6,5,4,3 each, the message with priority 3 was picked up. After this we posted the same set again but none of the messages were picked up. We tried again with with 8 messages with the last one having priority 2 which was picked up.
After all this when we restarted our application, all the messages were picked up.
What could the problem be ? Any clues ?
