Hi,
we are using Websphere(version 4.0.5) MQ(version 5.2) for JMS and it is intalled in AIX machine.
The problem is SYSTEM.JMS.ND.SUBSCRIBER.QUEUE is not at all cleared.
But the subscribers subscribed to topics used to get the messages.
As message is not received from SYSTEM.JMS.ND.SUBSCRIBER.QUEUE over a period of time it is filled...and no application can able to put the message.
Can anyone please suggest an idea to find out the root cause.

My guess would be that you aren't ever unregistering your subscribers and this is causing your queues to fill up. There are a couple of programs at http://www.developer.ibm.com/tech/sampmq.html. They are called dumpbroker.java and unsubscribe.java. One of them will dump the list of subscribers and the other will allow you to unsubscribe them.

Also, MQ 5.2 went out of support on 12-31-2003. I'd suggest that you upgrade since there were fixes put into this area that you don't have.
