I'm using WBI MB 5.0.
In my case I have seven execution groups (much due to working with several different projects and customers).
Since part of the projects are "sleeping", I've stopped the flows and the execution groups. I run only one execution group.
But - in the Task Manager, there are seven dataFlowEngine processes consuming memory.
Is there a way to reclaim memory from an execution group that is not needed for the time being?
Should you minimize the number of execution groups? _________________ / Boolean |

Hi Anders,
You don't say which Task Manager column you looked at, but I guess it was Mem Usage. This is badly named and is really Working Set. The working set of a process can be swapped out by the OS if heavy load if placed on the system. Therefore, don't worry about it, if the DFE is stopped, it is not using CPU, and can be mainly swapped out if the box becomes heavily loaded.
