My system:
QueueManager and Queues:
runs under AIX
Protocol is TCP/IP
Clients:
Run under Win2000
I need to improve the security for my system by setting userid and password to ceartains queues in the QueueManager. Thus, all clients GETs and/or PUTs will have to "login" first in the QueueManager to have all access to the Queues.
Is this possible ?
FYI: The system works perfectly nowadays. I just need to know how to set
userids and passwords !

There is nothing like logging in using userid/pwd into a queue manager. What you could do though is setup userids that have specific access to queue manager and queue manager objects(queues etc) using setmqaut.
