Hi,

Newly setup MQSI/MQ environemnt.
Broker running on AIX, Conf Mgr W2k, channels between broker and conf mgr running successfully, everything working fine.

Senario:

if I have created a first simple messageflow with Input and OutPut Node without defining Queue Name in the
Input Node.

using control center:

1. checked in simple Messageflow
2. Assinged to Execution Group
3. Full Deploy.

Does this work or not ? stating in log tab

"The Execution Group 'xyz' has processed a configuration message successfully"

If you don't specify the queue name in the input node, then how can you expect the flow to work? You have to tell it to get its messages from somewhere!

I guess you could say that it "works". This is because you have configured this message flow to do nothing....and that is what it is doing very successfully. It is like writing C++ code that only returns 0 and then asking if it "works".

I recommend reading and performing the chapter entitled "Verifying your installation" in the install guide. This will give you a better idea of what "works". It should also give you the chance to explore how to configure and code the nodes in a message flow.
