Does anybody really use this product ?
Do you use it thru Holosofx or WBI ? or by itself ?
How do you care about process management ? versionning ?
How many designers do you have ?
What is your organization for the team : business analysts, designers, mq & j2ee&wmqintegrator developpers... ?
How do you update Staff ? What about passwords which users can change themselves in web client ? ...
How do you organize dev, test, prod environment ? transfers from one env. to another ?
Do you have naming objects advice to give...
I know, here are a lot of questions...

Basically your questions depend on the organization architecture and how large your implementation is

Thanks for your answers. Here are some more precise things about which i would have your opinion :
Versionning : what do you keep in your versioning repository : one full run time fdl ? one fdl for topology, another for full staff, another one for each process & related objects... ?
Team : 14 guys only for workflow dev ? that's a nice workforce Are designers/business analysts part of IT ? How many processes do you ship to your business each month ? What is an average delay of delivery for a medium complexity process ? Which ratio for each dev phase ?
Staff : I well understood that fdl is the only way do do anything with MQ worfklow I wanted to know if you found one person responsible for manual staff maintenance ou automatically synchronised with an LDAP directory using runbr....
Environment : as I understand your answer, you use only one design db to store dev / test/prod "source" processes ! Tell me I'm wrong ! Isn't it a bit "risky". No, seriously ?
Naming conventions : (no relation with environments) I was curious about naming of categories, processes&related objects (programs, data structures)...
Sorry for being so precise, but I'm in the pool now |

Keep one for Topology, one for staff and one for Processes (if you want a seperate FDL for each Process that is fine).

Processes for dev/test/prod should be the same, so you dont have to keep modyfying your Process definitions for each environment. You should be able to take a process from Dev and put into Prod with out any changes. _________________ -Ratan |
