Looking for some install expertise for this one...A system admin and I have performed the config steps for "Web client connecting via MQ on a machine that is not hosting an MQ Workflow system" (Ch 26, WF Install). However, the web client server sits in a secure DMZ (firewalled) while the workflow server sits outside the firewall. I had port 5010 on the WF server through the firewall, so that the web client can communicate to the WF server's QM (cluster). However, we already performed the config with the port closed. Is there a way to change the existing config using fmczutil? I know that the utility attempts to add the web client server's QM to the cluster on the WF server. Do I need to redo the config (delete then create)? If yes, then do I have to redeploy the web client war file if it's already there? |

Hi!
I've never tried a configuration with firewall, but I did some and changed it after an ansuccessful creation.
If the port 5010 is opened both directions, you could delete and create QM with fmczutil (use the comand line version, even if you on Windows server, s -> q, than d and c), and this should be enough. No need to re-deploy the web client files .
