I am using java code to test a connection from a client to a qm.
Here is the error message I receive:
MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
MQJE016: MQ queue manager closed channel immediately during connect
Closure reason = 2009
MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
MQJE016: MQ queue manager closed channel immediately during connect
Closure reason = 2009
USRAPP: Root cause = com.ibm.mqservices.MQInternalException: MQJE001: An MQExcep
tion occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
MQJE016: MQ queue manager closed channel immediately during connect
Closure reason = 2009
Exception in thread "main" com.ibm.mq.MQException: MQJE001: An MQException occur
red: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
I checked up code 2009 and it doesn't say much. Any suggestions? |

Check the error logs, it may have some more info. Usually this is associated with Tcp/ip errors.

Thanks. I don't know why I didn't check it in the first place. Got so tied up with the trace log that was outputted from my java app. It works. Problem was that I wasn't using upper case for the channel name. |
