Does anyone know how to find the ActImplCorrelID for a process activity of a currently running process? Can I find it in anywhere in the runtime database? _________________ IBM Certified Specialist - MQSeries |

The only place I have ever seen this referred to in the IBM documents is in the XML Messages. I would not be surprised if you can find it in the Database someplace, but I wouldn't know where to start looking

Here is the response from L3;
Sorry, but there is no way to retrieve the ActImplCorrelID. It is the
responsibility of the UPES implementation to take care of it and to
maintain the outstanding CorrelIDs.
To get the process out ot the "stuck" state, please use the ForceFinish
or ForceRestart functions. _________________ IBM Certified Specialist - MQSeries |

Based on the reply from L3 that you posted it seems that possibly you have instances with "UPES" activities stuck in the running state due to UPES failures. The easyest way to correct this is to use the Thin Client Monitor, navigate to the "stuck" activity and do a force restart on it. Then you can issue a start API call and it will go running again (Or use the Fat client to start). _________________ John McDonald
