Hi,
Urgent help required...
Iam having a custom node that polls the database.
The message coming out of this custom node does not contain
MQMD header, for obvious reasons.
But this flow throws an exception while publishing the message.
Can any one tell me a way to add the MQMD header?
I tried ading the values manually. But there are a few problems in getting the messageId value in BLOB type.
Any suggestions?? _________________ Thanks and regards

Cant we copy the MQMD header into the Environment Variables in a compute node before the custom node and copy them back to MQMD header after the custom node?
This is the simplest may be the stupid way of doing this. But it works !
Thanks,

If this is a custom input node, then there might not be an MQMD to copy before the node (and it wouldn't need to go into the Environment, and then get copied back out again, either).
You say you've tried to create one yourself, and have gotten errors. You should just be able to create one with regular ESQL, nothing really special needs to occur.
What are the errors you're getting? What are the issues you're having with creating a message ID - and wouldn't it be easier to configure the MQOutput node to create one for you (by selecting the new MessageID checkbox)?
Also, I'm pretty sure this issue of not having an MQMD, and when and how to create it, is discussed in the Programming Guide. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
