Hi all...
I'm facing pblms with my control center all of a sudden. I turned off my comp last night...and today when turned it on, starting my broker and control center....an error message is poping up..
BIP1356S: MQSeries error detected, reason code 2195.
An error has occurred while making an MQSeries call from the Control Center. The MQSeries reason code is 2195.
For more information on this error see the MQSeries Application Programming Reference manual, code 2195.
did anybody come across this....any ideas to share...
and 'n the event viewer I get...
A communications error for TCP/IP occurred.
An unexpected error occurred in communications.
The return code from the TCP/IP (ioctlsocket) call was 10038 (X'2736'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.
thanks in advance.

hi Sonu,
I never got this type of error..but i checked in the Messages.pdf
-------------------------------------------------------
BIP1356S • BIP1363S
BIP1356S MQSeries error detected, reason code
&1.
Explanation: An error has occurred while making an
MQSeries call from the Control Center. The MQSeries
reason code is &1.
User Response: For more information on this error see
the MQSeries Application Programming Reference
manual, code &1.
-------------------------------------------------------------
But i used to see Tcp/ip errors in event viewer, i am also not sure of it.
I thought its because of any network problem(if its TCP/ip error, may be channels or any connections are not started)..Just a guess.

HI ,
I would check if the listeners port number is not beeen used by any other QMGR. Beacuse the default port # is 1414, theres a chance that the more than one is trying to use 1414. Also, check if the listener is up and running.
Thanks,
pvemuri. |
