Hi All,

pls help...., I installed one MQseries on NT box and one on AIX box. each of them installed on its own local user account. I can ping each other box. On AIX box, I create a queue manager with one localqueue and one remote admin server connection. Now on window, i tried the show remote queue manager and I got an error of "Not authorize to perform this operation". can someone pls help if you know what I did wrong and point me to the right direction

You need to add your "NT UserID" to Aix. Then on Aix add MQ security to your "NT UserID" or add your "NT UserID" to the mqm group.

Also, don't forget to "refresh security" for that queue manager via runmqsc (on Aix).
