Hi,
I have a QM1 and QM2 joined a cluster and both have a full repository.
We have another QM3 joined the cluster and is a member (no repository).
Because QM3 is behind the gateway, it provides two gateway ip address (IP1 and IP2). My QM1 can access IP1 and my QM2 can access IP2 only.
In this case, does it neccessary to defina extra cluster sender channel on QM1 and QM2 like:
To.QM3.IP1 on QM1 and To.QM3.IP2 on QM2
Thanks |

You dont have to manually define cluster sender channels. Once you define the clusrcvr and clussdr on the non-repository queue manager and start the clussdr channel, it would automatically create and start the sender pointing to the clusrcvr.
Since in this case you have 2 IP's, you may manually define a clussdr on QM2/QM1 and respective clusrcvr on QM3.
But again, unless your design wants it to be that way, you are OK with the auto-define cluster channels for you pointing to the same IP from both QM1 and QM2.
Cheers
