Wondering if you could help with a dilemma in MQ Integrator. What I want to do is that the output from one flow should be the input for another flow. In one of the flows, the output node has the same Q as the input node of the second flow. Basically I want to reroute the XML file from output node to the input node of another flow. please email me at ajay123452001@yahoo.com
Thanks in advance |

Hi
Replace your output node of flow1 with a out terminal, and remove inputnode of flow2 drag and drop flow1 to flow2. |

If I add the Output Terminal to flow1, then I guess i would have to remove flow1 from the execution group. I came to this conclusion when I tried to deploy after adding the output terminal. Am I on the right track
Thanks for your input on this. |

The question is why do you want to output from one flow to another ?
If you want to reuse the logic in flow1 to input into other flows then make it a subflow in flow2. (ie. give it an output terminal, add it to flow2 as a complex node, and don't deploy it directly)
If you want to reuse the logic in flow2 to take input from other flows then make it a sublow in flow1. (ie. give it an input terminal, add it to flow1 as a complex node, and don't deploy it directly)
If you only ever use flow1 and flow2 together then consider only having one flow. |

You can do what you suggest. Providing both flows are running it will work.
You can see an example of this being used with the aggregation nodes in the Redbook - WMQI 2.1 Deployment and Migration SG24-6509-00 and if you want use the "web materials" to import the actual flows.
