Instead of asking "What should I monitor in MQ", you should ask "What problems am I trying to solve by monitoring MQ?"

Do you want to know if your applications aren't working? Do you want to be able to provide an audit trail for non-repudiation purposes? Do you want to provide performance statistics? Do you want to be able to identify and act on system changes or failures?

We can't tell you which of these things (if any!) your situation requires.
