I have seen some other posts about this error. I have a customer who is getting this after an unclean end of MQ before an IPL.

Please can somone advise me on how to recover from this, as I am new to MQ, and I have to admit I am struggling!

What platform are you on? Which version of MQ?
Is this a clustered machine?

AMQ7017 suggests a log file path error or the logpath can not be found.
If it is a clustered machine, is the log file system mounted to the other node?

Hi

This is on an AS400, I believe that they are on version 5.2 of MQ.

I dont think its clustered, but I can check that out.

There are a lot of logfiles present on the IFS of the AS400.

They have other queue managers which are working fine....just this one that isnt.
