I am a bit confused on usage of these 2.
My scenario is I have a MQ workflow XML message for which I have a DTD. The output required is also an XML format but has a different XML struc.
I have created 2 message sets and message definition files.
Can someone help me with the foll:
1)Would i need a RCD node
2)If i want to use a mapper node, how do i achieve this
my DTD has the filed Inputdata
but the incoming XML has
<INputdata>
<a></a>
<b></b>
<c></c>
</InputData>
which has to be mapped to the following outgoing XML
all values in inputdata to tags <abc>,<def>, <ghi>
DO i need to do this in the COmpute node, which would mean i need to create the complete output XML through ESQL.
I am on WMQI V5. |

I think you can accomplish this by creating 2 messages in a the messageset(MRM),one message is based on the DTD and another message is in the format as you need.then you can map thses messages in the compute node.
For further info,refer to Redbook named "WebSphere MQ Integrator Deployment and Migration",chapter 7.
Cheers,

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
If I have both the message sets, how can i use my compute node to map. These will mean i have to write complete ESQL statements to achieve this rather than a simple mapper node. Is that correct |
