hi,

My control center window not asking for any username and other parameters.Once selected its going with out asking the details.

and following error in event viewer

( ConfigMgr ) Unknown user encountered within the Configuration Manager.

An unknown user exception was caught by the Configuration Manager RoleManager class when calling the UGRegistry class. The user has not been given access to the resource.

Retry the operation. If the exception still occurs, turn on Configuration Manager tracing to capture details of the exception, and contact your IBM support center.

plz tell me why its happening in Windows Xp.

Control Center never asks for a user-id. IT uses the OS logged on user-id and passes that to the Config Mgr for authorization. Make sure your windows user-id belongs to all mqb* groups on the config mgr machine.
Control Center will use the values entered during last time for Hostname, Queue Manager and Port parameters. If you want to specify different values for these parameters then you can select File->Connection option.
