Hi All,
Can someone pls Clarify, I have two brokers reside on two different AIX boxes and Oracle Database on the 3rd different AIX. My question is Do I need two oracle DB instances for two brokers or I can just use one instance for two brokers?
Pls help, Thanks in advance |

I have got 2 brokers running on one machine (solaris) and one oracle instance and one broker database.
So I think the broker name makes the difference within the database.

Yes, more than one broker can share single broker database. But, each broker needs to have it's own queue manager. One broker can share queue manager with the Configuration manager.
As Michael said, every entry (row) on each table identifies an individual broker.
You might want to consider recovery and restart when sharing the same broker database for multiple brokers.
