I am trying to deploy a .bar file to a remote broker on XP. The message says it deployed but it never shows up under the default execution group where i deployed it to. If I try to deploy it again, I get the error saying there is a deployment currently in progress and you cant do this now. I can cancel the deployment and then try to deploy again and I get a successful return code but again, still no objects under the execution group. I was wandering does the user id the config manager is running under have to be the same ID the remote broker is running under. Any help is greatly appreciated.

By successful return code do you mean the message in the log view?
As you described if it doesnt allow you to do a deploy again,then proabably the messages are not reaching the broker or the messages from broker are not coming back to the ConFigMgr.Check if the channels are working .
