Hi all,
I have installed mq5.3 with csd 05 on AIX environment. Does anyone know what is the maximum queue depth that MQ could handled?
Thanks in advance |

Look in the manual. That's why IBM goes to so much trouble writing them.
And always assuming that you have sufficient disc space to handle all the messages.

I search through MQ system adimin redbook, script command reference and intercommunication redbooks but I don't see where it mentioned much about queue depth. If you happened to know exact location and link, pls provide,
Thanks |

Try the quick beginnings guide for your platform.
Or, you know, the search button on this very page. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Well, you didn't read the Script Command manual that closely. It took me 5 seconds to find this under "DEFINE QUEUE".

On AIX, Compaq OpenVMS, HP-UX, Linux, OS/400, Solaris, Windows, and z/OS, specify a value in the range zero through 999 999 999.
On any other WebSphere MQ platform, specify a value in the range zero through 640 000. |
