Hi,

Can anyone tell me what all can be done when the channel status displays retrying so that it can be made to running state..........

Check your error logs for the reason the channel is in the retrying state.
Fix that.
Stop and start the channel at both ends.
Possibly you will have to resynchronize the channel numbers.
Possibly you will have to resolve the channel, using your admin tool of choice.

This should be documented in the Intercommunications manual.
