we have a mq queuemanager up and running in the unix box
The MQexplorer from windows when we connect we are getting error amq4043 (queue manager not available for connection)
The initial connection was tried through treminal services.
When we tried connecting through the local Windows MQServer Explorer we are getting the same error could you provide more inputs to solve the same
Note: The queue manager and listener on unix box are running, we are able to ping the channels of the queumanager from another queuemanager which are in cluster

check the following
1. Queue manager active
2. Listener active on the correct port
3. MQSeries command processor job active AMQPCESA
4. SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCON channel exist
5. MCAUSRID has a valid enduser specified
6. Command server started

You should have the userid you are running on MQExplorer shoud exist on
the unix system (It doesnt have to have login capablitiy) and it needs to be added to the mqm group which can also be specified in the /etc/passwd file
As for step 5 from the previous post, by using the MCAUSERID attribute of the svrconn channel anyone who connects to the channel will have the same authority as the MCAUSERID. _________________ Jeff
