I am upgrading a production net from 5.2. to 5.3 on Solaris. A paranoia question about the setmqcap. I think the command is to reconcile the number of processors with the stated licensed quantity, so there's no tricky license code to deal with. This is a 1AM weekend job, so no room for 'gotcha's. Can anyone confirm?
If you don't run it, the only thing i saw it do was complain every now & then about need to run the setmqcap command.

You will see it every time you start the Qmgr. I suggest that you run it before starting the Qmgr. If your Qmgr is already running, bring it down first and make sure all the Qmgrs are down before issuing the setmqcap command.
