Im having a problem .The application im running cant seem to connect to a remote server.I have defined the MQSERVER correctly.When i issue an amqsputc sample application i am able to put a message successfully but the on the cobol application it comes with error 2058.

The queue manager on the remote server is defined.Please help.Im using mqconnx and i have defined the parameters correctly.

Please help.

Wendy,
2058 is QMgrName Error, if the amqsputc program works then there is an error in your COBOL program. Please post the code that is not working, including the parameters.

MQ returncodes can be displayed with the mqrc program, part of the server install.
