Hi ,

I have a query on Connection table of 5.3 as compared to 5.2 version of MQSeries.

In MQ5.2 we use to specify
MQCHLLIB=PATH(/mqmtop :ie in /var/mqm)
and my MQCHLTAB=AMQCLCHL.TAB into the Client machine.

It contain all QMgr defination in one file so If one QMgr is not available the client takes another one.

But in 5.3 since IBM has change few arch this file is generated for each QMgr under its directory not in /var/mqm instead in the

/mqmtop/qmgrs/QUEUEMANAGERNAME/@ipcc/AMQCLCHL.TAB

So now I cannot copy this files into client since each will overwrite but I need all QMGr details in single AMQCLCHL.TAB.

Is there any way to achive this or does this require any work arrround.

Please let me know.

AMQCLCHL.TAB contains client conn definitions, and you can define all the ones for all the queue managers against one queue manager and they will all go in that file. I am not aware this changed between 5.2 and 5.3 - did you by chance have the mqchl* env vars set globally on your 5.2 install? (I dont know if that would work, but might account for the difference).
