I have a cluster that spans two machines, and has three member queue managers.

On machine #1, I have QM's A and B defined. On machine #2, I have QM C defined.

A and B share a cluster queue that round-robins all requests that sent from C. And this works fine.

In the requests that it sends, C specifies the name of a response queue in message descriptors that A and B consult to PUT responses to. C has a local definition of this queue, A and B have remote definitions by default.

Until recently, both A and B had no problem connecting to the remote definition of C's local queue. A continues to have no problem. However, B tries to connect now and the MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME error generates everytime.

Any thoughts advice on the above scenario? Thanks all.

Mike

Since the local queue on QM C is not a cluster queue, and the remote definitions pointing to this queue from QM A and B are regular remote definitions, i would test putting messages directly to the remote queue of B to see if the messages actually land up on the destined queue on QM C. if not, then you might want to check your config again.

Anything in the error logs??
Whats the xmitq used by the remote queues on QM A and B?? Are you using the system.cluster.tq by any chance.

Cheers
Kumar
