I just need a validation of my assumptions here!! I need to calculate the dasd required for mq - is the general practice to make sure there is enough space to handle the maximum queue depth for messages (in case the messages are not moving for some reason) plus the space in the log file of each of those messages plus persistence overhead (for those messages that are persistent). If messages are not moving, they are in the queue itself and in the log file so if I have 5000 messages taking up space in the queue - those 5000 messages are also being tracked in the log file for persistent messages?

Thanks for any clarification!!!
