Hi,

Can anyone tell , is there any way to find out who is putting the messages into the Queues. will there be any record of these details...
or do v need to write any script ............

display qstatus should work

display qstatus(queue name) type(Handle) opentype(input) userid

or

display qstatus(queue name) type(Handle) all

There's also the message descriptor, which contains context fields such as UserIdentifier, PutApplName which can help to identify the application that put the message.

Check out the API Guide and Reference for more details on the MQMD.
