If so, maybe you could take the time to read the section of the Application Programming Guide that Eddie pointed you at. It might answer your question.
But, without myself having read that section, what I think Eddie is suggesting is that you create another queue (any local queue will do), and write a status *message* onto it as your program is reading each message in the group. This message would hold the group ID, and also hold the sequence number of the last message you read.
The code to create this status message is just the same as any other code to write any MQSeries message to any queue. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
