All,

I came across this training opportunity in the bay area recently and wanted to share with the group in case others hadn't seen it yet.

Dear MQ Series Specialists,

As a technical specialist with expertise in MQ series, I wanted to inform you of a free special training opportunity on a MQ transaction monitoring application that is used by Fortune 500 companies in the Financial, Insurance, Healthcare, and Retail markets.

Bristol Technology's TransactionVision is a Transaction Monitoring package that tracks business transactions as they traverse J2EE and MQ environments. Just as FedEx tracks packages as they move through the FedEx deliver system, TransactionVision tracks business transactions as they move through an IT infrastructure. Monitoring J2EE and MQ points that the transaction passes through and captures detailed technical and business level data about the transaction at each point. TransactionVision automatically links together data collected at each point to re-create the business transaction that occurred, each step in the process, as well as how long each step took to process the business transaction. TransactionVision is able to provide troubleshooting, capacity planning, automatic process modeling, automatic transaction maps, and Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) information about the monitored transactions.

More information about TransactionVision can be found at: http://www.bristol.com/transactionvision/
Information about companies using TransactionVision can be found at: http://www.bristol.com/customers/

Bristol Technology will be holding a one day overview technical training session on TransactionVision that is free and open to MQ Series Specialists who would like to learn more about TransactionVision. This session will cover TransactionVision benefits, technical architecture, deployment scenarios, data analytics capabilities, reporting, and customization aspects.

This initial session will be held in Downtown San Francisco, CA. Future session may be held in other geographical areas based on interest level. The specifics for this session are:

Date: Wednesday, December 17th, 2003
