Hi,
there is well known MQGMO_MARK_SKIP_BACKOUT, to exclude some MQGET message data from restore to appl_q in case of backout.
Now I'm looking for an analogous way to exclude some MQPUT message data from from vanishing from appl_q in case of backout.
Neither declaring a message as "non persistent" seems to do the job, nor putting the message on "temporary dynamic q" which is non-recoverable seems to serve the intended application purpose - the latter being:
writing an application log either in case application backouts it's updates to recoverable resources.
Of course, some non-MQS asynchronous device from applications run time environment could do the job as well, but this is not, what is searched for.
Any suggestions welcome.
