I am getting this error while compiling the sample program imqsput.cpp on AIX5.1 (32 bit) I am using MQ 5.3 with client connections and Visual Age C++
*************************************************************
ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: .ImqChl::setHeartBeatInterval(long)

ld: 0711-345 Use the -bloadmap or -bnoquiet option to obtain more information.

I have included these libraries
libimqb23ia.a \
libimqc23ia.a \
libmqic.a \
libmqicb.a \
libmqmcs.a \
libmqmr.a \
libmqmzse.a
I am not sure if I need them all except first two.
I can compile this same program on W2K box.
I saw 1 post related to the same error but no resolution was found.
Any thoughts on whats missing.
Thanks,

I think you need to use the option -qnamemangling=v5 during compilation for all C++ modules.
