We just installed MQ (CSD05) on 3 Win200 systems and created a QMGR on each. They all run fine until the user that created the QMGRs logs off. The QMGR on all 3 systems ends unexpectedly.
Error states: "...An internal error has occurred with identifier 0..." It also states that this error is associated with other error messages, but I could not find anything else. An FDC 'sometimes' gets generated. Ideas?? |

I would guess then that you are starting the queue manager from the command line interface with strmqm. To persist beyond a logoff, you need to start them as a service. You can do this one of 2 ways. Start the MQ Explorer and select the qm and start it, or start it from the command line with the amqmdain, e.g. "amqmdain start QMGRNAME".
Either of these methods starts the qmgr as a service under user MUSR_MQADMIN rather that the logged on user.

Or you can goto MQSeries SnapIn (Services) and then goto queue manager properties. HEre you can set Startup to Automatic. This will start your queue manager automatically when the MQSeries service is started from Windows Services. _________________ Kiran
