I found that the permission right for runmqtrm is 'r-sr-s---'. what if changed to r-xr-x--x, will there be any adnormal behavious for runmqtrm??? Since I need to use the trigger queue to invoke my application program with owner other than mqm. Your help is much more appreciated.

Make sure the user that invokes "runmqtrm" is in the mqm group. Otherwise, the trigger monitor won't be able to connect to the queue manager, let alone read the initiation queue!

Apart from that, I don't think there are any other gotchas. The trigger monitor is a really simple program, IBM supply sample source code of a similar program - it's pretty lightweight, IMHO.
