Hello @all,

I'am using Websphere MQ 5.3 and testing SSL, so i looked in this forum (and in IBM (red)books) how to setup the queuemanager and the client.

My System is:

Websphere MQ 5.3 on Windows NT 4.0

Websphere MQ 5.3 Java Client running on Debian Linux.

When i want to connect to the Queuemanager i get following error:

Websphere MQ SSL Test startet...
MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2397
MQJE056: Initial negotiation failure
MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2397
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: empty certificate chain
Websphere MQ SSL Test ended.

please help me, i've searched in the I-Net but did not found anything about this.

Chris,

I've set this up fairly recently and used two sources to figure it out. The first is: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.phpt=11267&highlight=

and the second is:

Take a look at those and see if they do not help you.
