I have already posted this in another forum. But got no response.
I am trying to do message segmentation. My message size is 15 MB.
I am using MQSeries Syetm segmentation with setting MD flags. For get I am using MQGMO_COMPLETE_MSG option. I have my queue, qmgr and channels MAXMSGL default i.e 4MB My PUT is working just fine. But while doing GET I am getting 2010. I read the forums and as per the other response changed my queue, qmgr and SVRCONN (also Client channel) MAXMSGL to be 15MB. But still the problem persists.

My questiuons is
1) Do I need to change the maxmsgl param for queue, qmgr and channel at the first place or just channel param needs to be changed to handle the complete 15MB message

2) Also, is it true that if I am using MQSERVER as env variable, my channel MAXMSGL can not be more than 4MB.

I will really appreciate if some one can throw some light on this.

1) If you leave all the values at the default, as you are using MQ segmentation, MQ will segment the message as necessary.

2) Yes. So, if the total size of the message is over 4MB, then you can't GET it via a client using the ENV method of connecting.

Cheers,
