I tried to use the same settings in JMSAdmin.config file as described in the above article and tried to run the JMSAdmin toll but it failed.
Can we actually use JMSAdmin tool to create JNDI objects in WAS5.0 or is admin console the only way to do it. It would really be nice to have JMSAdmin tool to work with JMSAdmin.

I have a co-worker that had to jump through several hoops, but he eventually got JMSAdmin to work with WAS 5.0. However, the names are stored in the transient name space which meant that they went away with every restart of WAS. I'd stick with the admin console.
