Hi,

I am trying to send messages to multiple queues using a distribution list. The queues reside in different as400 machines and are part of a cluster.

I am encountering problems while doing this. I get an error code 2085 - MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME while opening the distribution list.

The same procedure works fine when the queues in the distribution list are all local. Also i am able to send messages to the remote queues in the cluster one at a time (without using the distribution list).

What could be the problem?

Thanks
Nirmala

Hi

Its working now. In the distribution list the queues were remote queues but the queue manager was the local one. When i changed the queue manager also to the remote ones it started working properly.

Dont know why this should happen as it is a clustered environment.

Thanks
Nirmala
