We have started encountering problems with wingbat characters(U+277D) choking our sql insert statements that are constructed when a message arrives. We just 'started encountering' because we were not recieving these type of characters until recently.
The SQL error is:
SqlMessage: ORA-01756: quoted string not properly terminated
For purposes of our system, we would prefer to filter out all non-keyboard characters anyways. Something to just point us in the right direction would be appreciated. Some of the details:
Sun OS
MQ/WMQI configuration
Java retrieving message and passing to the create process.
