I am trying pub/sub Java example downloaded from IBM site

when i start Publisher & Subscriber i get

JMS Exception: com.ibm.mq.jms.NoBrokerResponseException: MQJMS5053: *** No broke
r response. Please ensure that the broker is running. If you are using the WebSp
here MQ broker check that your brokerVersion is set to V1 ***
Linked exception: com.ibm.mq.MQException: MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 203

I have started the broker using strmqbrk -m QUEUEMANAGER but still i get this error.

Any help will be invaluable.

What sample is this? Is this something from the MA0C? I've seen errors like this when a "bad" message gets put on the broker's input queue and it causes the good messages to hang. I'd suggest that you try shutting everything down and restarting.
