Hi All,

I have installed and configured MQWF 3.4 on Solaris 8 box.
MQ 5.2 , DB2 7.2 and WAS 4.0.

I have started the admin server by
fmcamain -y FMC &

Got a message saying the admin server has started.

Then i have started the admin utility
And queried the status of servers.

the execution server status was " Starting"
After a while message said
"Execution server could not be started.
Execution server not responding to control requests."

Then I started Execution server with
fmcemain
And there was no problem.
And also I was able to logon to webclient and run processes.

Looking for some help here.

Can you post the system log and mq error logs

GASYS1: FMC12290E The execution server for system GASYS1
is not responding to control requests.

OK. i was able to solve it .

By doing this ,

ln -s /opt/IBMdb2/V7.1/lib/libdb2.so.1 /usr/lib .

DB2LN command for Solaris does not setup the link.
So I had to so it manually.

And now everything is fine.
