Do you mean Sink?

If not from what I understand you mean by sync, they are the same.

I am not sure if I agree with you on this. (I may be wrong but ...)
I thought a sink is something at the end of a process. To a sink, we can have data connectors, do mapping etc)
My idea of a join is when control connetors are coming towards an activity. (vice versa of fork or branching a process).

A -> B
A -> C
(This is a branch)

B -> D
C -> D
(This is a join)

Am I not right?

Venny, that is what I meant.

If he meant 'Sink' by saying 'Sync' --> Sync and Join are not the same.

Ratan,
I meant sync only and not sink. can you elaborate on your answer. Is sync different from join? How?

Thanks
