Has anyone tried sending UPES message to WMQI. Any pointer on how translation takes place. |

Hi,
The UPES Queue defined in workflow should be an input queue in one of the flows for WMQI. As far the translation goes, WMQI broker will treat this as a generic XML message (i.e. the message flow does not try to interpret it on its own.). In your compute node, you have to use ESQLs to access the required information from this UPES messsage. Typically you would be interested in accessing the data container.
If the workflow UPES activity is synchronous, i.e waiting for a reply back from WMQI,then you will have to somehow store the UPES ActImplCorrelID. Create a response message in your message flow and put this response back to workflow. (Workflow would be listening on FMC.FMCGRP.FMCSYS.EXE.XML ) queue for response to UPES.
Please refer to XML APIs in the programming guide for formats of UPES Request and the expected response formats..
