Hi,

I have WBIMB 5.0 on AIX and want upgrade to CSD02. Must I Migrate the Tollkit and the Config Manager to CSD02 with thw Windows CSD02 ?

I should think so, there are still enough problems with CSD02 - without introducing mixed CSD levels on components.

The readme doesn't specify anything, so if you really need to mix CSD's check with IBM support first.

Why can't you download and install the CSD02 for AIX? What made you think you need to use the CSD02 for Windows?

Because the readme doesn't explicitly state that a CSD2 broker works with a CSD1 configmgr/tooling.

Plus, there are tons of fixes in the tooling in CSD2.

I have not found any information if it is better to install the Broker and the same level CSD for the Tooling/cfgmgr !

My experience sofar with WBIMB V5 is when you put one toe off the 'known path' your whole foot get's shot off...
so why volantarily take a strole through the mine field on the left by using mixed CSD's for Broker and Config Mgr
