Hi,
I have WBIMB 5.0 on AIX and want upgrade to CSD02. Must I Migrate the Tollkit and the Config Manager to CSD02 with thw Windows CSD02 ?

I should think so, there are still enough problems with CSD02 - without introducing mixed CSD levels on components.
The readme doesn't specify anything, so if you really need to mix CSD's check with IBM support first. |

Why can't you download and install the CSD02 for AIX? What made you think you need to use the CSD02 for Windows? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Because the readme doesn't explicitly state that a CSD2 broker works with a CSD1 configmgr/tooling.
Plus, there are tons of fixes in the tooling in CSD2. |

I have not found any information if it is better to install the Broker and the same level CSD for the Tooling/cfgmgr !

My experience sofar with WBIMB V5 is when you put one toe off the 'known path' your whole foot get's shot off...
so why volantarily take a strole through the mine field on the left by using mixed CSD's for Broker and Config Mgr
