Where did you get this information from. You should explain the scenario better. |

I'm not sure that I understand this either. However, I would guess that since you've already been authenticated by the Operating System, there is no need to make you specify another userid/password to connect to MQ.
I'll also say that there are numerous types of exits on the channels that can be used for security purposes. |

Ok,I agree with you when Connect to Queue Manager in local machine. But when you connect to Queue manager to remote machine. You only use userId wich was created on remote machine and was grant priville to connect.you can connect to Queue Manager on remote machine.
Suppose that anyone known userid on remote machine,no need known password,he or she can connect to queue manager too.
I used channel security exit,but I have a problem:
I get userid/passsword in file or anywhere, then my pair of exit exchange each other. But I don't want that.
Can I pass security data derectly to Exit(.dll file) from my Login Box?
Thanks in advance.

I think you are on the right path with the security exits. I've never used them myselves. I'm guessing that you'll need one on the client side that will prompt for a userid and password. You can pass this to the server side for authentication. You'll probably have to do some encryption to hide them on the wire.
You might also want to look into the WMQ 5.3 SSL capabilities. I've never messed with it myself, but it might help you out as well. |
