What about authentication? I think I dont have permission to connect to queue. So I picked up username and password from john's (who has valid userid and pass) connection.properties file, located under 'adp_back' directory, and put then in env variables MQ_USER_ID and MQ_PASSWORD.
Now is it sufficient? Following is what i read from internet....
"For Windows NT and UNIX clients, the user ID that is passed to the server is the currently logged-on user ID on the client. In addition, the Windows NT client passes the security ID of the currently logged-on user"
Now... willl these env variables override the defaults or not? If not, I think I should be given access to that queue...
any ideas? |

If you're using a mq-client newer that 5.0 you can't override the userid from win/NT or W2+.
The only way arround it might be using security exits....
(I'm still using an old client because of the same reason), it can event be usd for penetration tests.....
